¶ IBM Cloud Object Storage Type

- In the Navigation menu (left of the screen) click the “SETUP” module and then on “Storage”;
- In the options list area (lower-left corner) click the “Add”
button to configure the device and fill in the form with the information below:
- Name: enter the device name;
- Kind: click to select the storage kind, among the available options (e.g. IBM Cloud Object Storage);
- Region: select the region where the IBM Storage web server is located Automap locations with the regions listed below:
Cloud Object Storage Region Location us-south US South (Dallas) us-east US East (Washington DC) eu-gb Europe (London) eu-de Europe (Frankfurt) au-syd Asia Pacific (Sydney) jp-tok Asia Pacific (Tokyo) jp-osa Asia Pacific (Osaka) ca-tor North America (Toronto) br-sao South America (São Paulo) - Access key/Secret key: enter the user credentials for the network location;
- Test connection: click to verify the credentials of the device. If the credentials are correct and the connection is correctly established, the "CONNECTION ESTABLISHED" and "REMOVE CONNECTION" buttons will be shown.
After establishing the connection, the fields below will be presented for selecting the bucket:
- Bucket: select the bucket to connect to;
- Base path: enter the base path of the destination folder or leave it blank to access the entire bucket.
- In the action toolbar (bottom right corner) click the “SAVE” button to save the settings.
