To configure the quality and latency of the stream, in the Player widget, click the options button (upper right corner) and set them in the Stream section:
In the images below, see an example of the difference between XULB and SHQ qualities:

When playing an asset, the quality and latency options take effect when the video is loaded, so you need to play the asset again, not just change the settings. And when previewing a stream, the quality and latency will be applied automatically when saving player settings.
To make relevant stream information visible, go to Player Settings, and in the Stream Info group of the Overlays section, choose the quadrant where the information will be available:
To activate the capture timer, configure the Player widget with the SDI command bar and click the capture timer button:
After that, set the capture duration in hh:mm:ss format and check the “Preserve timeout” option if you want the entered duration to be the same for the next captures:
This option is particularly useful in tape digitizing workflows as it allows the operator to set the capture time according to the tape duration used for recording. It also ensures that the operator does not have to worry about manually stopping the capture.
Another tool implemented is the option to control the playback speed. To use this, configure a Player widget with the Web Editor command bar and click on the button highlighted in the image below to increase or decrease the playback speed:
Note: this is not a standard button on the MAM4PRO, so if you intend to use it, please feel free to contact our support center.
Take advantage of the tools that MAM4PRO can offer to make your day-to-day tasks easier.
