- In the Navigation menu (left of the screen) click the “SETUP” module and then on “Asset Management”;
- In the options list area (lower-left corner) click the “Add”
button to configure the MAM and fill in the form with the information below:
a. Name: enter the MAM server name;
b. Server address: input the IP address (or network name) of the Vizzi MAM server;
c. Username/Password: if necessary, enter the user credentials for the Vizzi MAM server;
d. Test connection: click to verify the credentials of the MAM. If the credentials are correct and the connection is correctly established, the “CONNECTION ESTABLISHED” and “REMOVE CONNECTION” buttons will be shown;
e. Origin kind: select the storage type;
f. Dynamic address: enter the IP address (or network name) of the storage location. This is the address through which the Origin will dynamically deliver processed content, such as JIT or Pre-Packaged HLS and DASH streams;
g. Static address: enter the static address of the storage location network. This is the address through which the Origin will serve static (non-processed) content, such as posters and thumbnails;
h. Root path: enter the relative path from the root folder. - In the action toolbar (bottom right corner) click the “SAVE” button to save the settings.
Tip: upon integrating a Vizzi Asset Management, if your intention is to perform ingest jobs on some assets, ensure a seamless configuration by setting the input field to the “Generic” type when configuring the workflow. For more information about adding an ingestion workflow, please check this page.
