When we think about launching a video platform, we think about personalization to match your brand, targeted advertising, and things like that. However, an often overlooked but critical consideration to make to stand out in this growing market is language. Having your platform and your content available in a language accessible to visitors is crucial.
Bearing in mind that the consumption of cross-border content is transforming by leaps and bounds, so should your product. A multilingual platform has the potential to transform your business and will become increasingly important from a competitive standpoint.
The good news is that Vizzi is already natively prepared to help you give your platform this boost.
First, access the Language tab in the Settings menu, select the primary language under the “Default Language” field and click the “ADD” button to add alternative languages:
Then, new fields will be presented to fill in the metadata (in the VODs, Live Streaming, Actionables, Categories, Collections, and Products modules) in each chosen language:
After that, on the frontend, the user will be able to choose their preferred language when editing their profile:
And when choosing the content, it will be displayed with the selected language:
