¶ Navigation and Actions
Toolbar pagination provides functionality that is common to other modules, please refer to “Basic navigation > Toolbar Pagination”.
In the VODs module, the content window can be displayed either as a list or grid form. One can alternate between display modes by clicking the “TOGGLE VIEW” button in the Content Toolbar, according to the image below:
List form display represents a dense view where all commands, tools, and options are made available for quick and easy access.
Available actions are as follows:
- “SHOW”: click on this button to view the created item;
- “EDIT”: click on this button to access the item’s edit form;
- “DELETE”: click this button to delete the item.
Grid form display represents a compact yet simplified view where commands, tools and options available are kept to the minimum.
Available actions are as follows:
- “EDIT”: click on this button to access the item’s edit form;
- “SHOW”: click on this button to view the created item.
- “Search”, “CREATE” and “EXPORT”: these options are described in chapter “Basic Navigation > Content Toolbar”;
- “ADD FILTER”: allows you to filter existing items by common features;
a. Online: when you select this option, VODs items will be automatically filtered by those that are marked as Online. If you want to filter by offline you must click on the “Online” filter to unselect the option;
b. Category: when selecting this option, the field “Category” will appear and one will choose which category will be used in the filter. To do this click on “Category” and select the desired option in order to set the filter;
c. Processing Status: used to filter VODs created from the “UPLOAD” function. When selecting this option the field “Processing Status” will appear and allow you to filter the VODs according to their processing status. When clicking on this field a list with the options “Created”, “Started”, “Failed”, “Cancelled” and “Completed” will appear for your selection;
d. 360 VR: when you select this option, VODs will automatically be filtered by those that are marked as “360 VR”. If you want to filter by ones that are not, you need to click on the “360 VR” filter to unselect it;
e. Embeddable: when you select this option, the VODs will be automatically filtered by those that are marked as embeddable. If you want to filter for those that are not, you need to click on the “Embeddable” filter to unselect it.
Note: the filter only ceases to take effect when you click the button .
- “TOGGLE VIEW”: by clicking you will be able to toggle the view of VODs items between grid and list form;
- “UPLOAD”: by clicking on this button you can create a VOD using a video from your database quickly and easily.

¶ Table Body
- “Check select item” and “Content columns”: as described in chapter “Basic Navigation > Table Body”;
- “Quick actions": in VODs there are the following options:
a. Show: allows you to view the item showing its entire configuration;
b. Edit: allows you to edit the item;
c. Delete: allows you to delete the item.
Note: in the table body note that the Categories column displays the categories assigned to each VOD, one can easily navigate to the categories by clicking the items within the Categories cells.
Each time one or more items are selected the “Bulk Actions” menu will be displayed with the options described below (List form only).
- Set online: allows to quickly set a selection of items to online mode;
- Set offline: allows to quickly set a selection of items to offline mode;
- Add to collection: allows to add a selection of items to a previously configured Collections;
To add the selected item to a collection click on “Collection”, select the desired option from the list and click "Save”.
Note: by adding the VOD to a collection through this functionality you will be redirected to the preview of the selected collection.
- Delete: allows the removal of the selected items.
