¶ Creating an Archive Workflow
- In the Navigation menu (left of the screen) click the “WORKFLOWS” module and then on “Workflow Profiles”;
- In the options list area (lower-left corner) click the “Add”
button to configure the workflow;

In this tab fill in the form with the information below:
- Workflow name: enter the name of the new workflow profile;
- Disable workflow checkbox: this option is enabled by default, but if it is disabled the workflow will be unavailable for use anywhere in the system;
- Operation: select the “Archive” option;
- Storage: select, among the existing options, the location of the output file. The options presented here are the storages that were previously configured. See chapter Adding Storage for more information.
a. Base path: enter the base path for the output file to be written into.
Notes:
- To unarchive assets, you will need to run a restore workflow. To run this workflow, choose the asset in the widget Asset Explorer and in the widget Job Control select the workflow "Restore (from archive)". Once this is done, the asset will again be presented as online and available in the original base path;
- The "Restore (from archive)" workflow is internal to MAM4PRO and will only be presented when archived assets are selected;
- When updating a location, all archived assets and temporary information generated by a metadata enhancement workflow, for example, will be lost. Therefore, MOG recommends that the option to update locations be available only to admin users. To learn more about configuring rules for users, see the Permissions page.
