The Asset Explorer displays the contents stored in the locations that were selected in the Asset Browser widget. It can be displayed in a grid or list.
Tip: dragging an asset from the “Asset Explorer” to the “Job Control” will start the previously selected workflow and to the “Player” will start its preview.
Grid View
In the top left corner, all locations that are selected in the Asset Browser widget are shown so you can easily check the origin of the assets presented.
In the grid view, when hovering over the assets, two icons will be displayed:
List View

The icons located on the bottom represent, in order from left to right:
Search: located at the top of the widget, enter text to search or click the filter to the right of the bar to filter by name, metadata field, locator, tag, type, processed, status, availability, duration, and creation date. It´s also supported search by comparison operators that allow you to search using multiple queries at the same time;
To use the search filters, click on “Add new filter” and select what field you want to search for on the opened list.
Click on the operator to change this value.
Now, click on the value field to enter an expression to the search.
The way to enter with an expression to search will vary by the type of field chosen. For example, if was a date, click on the calendar icon and a window (image below left) will appear to choose the date and time, and if was a logical field a list with the possible options will appear by clicking the value field (image below right).

To add other queries, you can repeat the steps above as many times as you want to.
On the right corner of the “Asset Explorer” widget, click on the “Reset filter” button to reset the created filters or on the ”Save” button to save your search. To save, you need to give a name to the filter. Just click on the “Enter a name to save” field at the top of the widget and enter a name.
The availability of the assets can be easily viewed in the upper left corner with color, icon, and text.

Note: after running an Archiving Workflow, the archive icon will be shown in the botton left corner of the thumbnail.

Note: to update the status of an asset that is a live stream, simply select it.
It is also possible to view the individual availability of each asset in a group.
There is also an extra “Settings” window. To access it, in the upper right corner of the widget, click on the “Options” menu and then on “Settings”.
The “Columns” tab lets you choose which asset metadata to display.
You can change the order of columns by clicking on the column boxes and dragging to the desired position.
