Through the usage of Vizzi’s API is possible to develop a multitude of end-user frontends with a rich feature set.
Today we will show you another one of those fantastic and extremely valuable resources on content platforms that help you not to miss a single scene of that highly expected game and that even allows you to watch it together with your friends.
Working in the sports sector, our clients needed to provide their end users with a more immersive way to follow their events, so they would feel as if they were inside the game. To do so, they needed a solution that would allow their spectators to have available inputs from several locations of the same event, and they would also offer them the option of choosing which ones to watch, being able to see up to 4 scenes simultaneously.
¶ Let’s see how it was implemented
To set up an environment with multiple screens was used a resource already offered in Vizzi, the Virtual Screens. To this end, we have created a template fully adjusted to the customer’s needs and which will be linked through the Details tab in the Template field:
After that, to define which collections belong to this virtual screen, the user needs to go to the Content tab and select them:
Access to virtual screens is done either directly by navigating to a URL within a browser (only when the login is previously performed in another browser tab) or by using the “Go To” actionable that is presented in Vizzi white label frontend web app.
For this example, we configure access using the Go To actionable and then associate it with the videos in the collection linked to the Virtual Screen:
After that, when opening the video in the frontend, the user will see the button as shown in the image below:
When clicking on it, and if the user is authenticated, he will be redirected to the virtual screen:
Using the controls at the top of each screen, you can add and delete content from the queue and even proceed to the next or previous one:
This is just an example of the power that Vizzi’s white label frontend can bring to our clients, as it is highly customizable with each client’s branding and business models.
